About the Workshop
It’s a workshop for all ages who are passionate about creative technology and enjoy crafting with like-minded people!
In this workshop, you will learn how wearable technology applies in real life.
You will practice how to use conductive thread and LEDs and basic circuit design to create your own e-fashion.
This workshop does not need prior knowledge of electronics or programming.
You will have time to create two projects:
light-up fashion and an interactive voodoo doll. All materials will be supplied – just bring a plain piece of garment you can get creative on!
Once you get the hang of wearable technology, your imagination is the limit and you can make all sorts of smart accessories involving different sensors, blinking fashion items and interactive toys that you can’t find anywhere else in the world. They also make great personalized gifts for Christmas!
