Let’s do something different. Let’s get together and catch the 9.10am V/Line train to Geelong next Tuesday. Cowork on the train, cowork at Geelong and if you like, do a 90-second pitch on the actual beach.
Bring your laptop, tablet, smartphone, pen & notebook, slate board & chalk …. whatever your work tools are.
So what’s the plan?
Get to Southern Cross station by 8.55am to be in time for 9.10am train to Waurn Ponds. Check the video monitors for platform info and make sure your Myki is topped up ($25.20 return).
What if I miss the train?
Coworking train will be the 9.10am train to Waurn Ponds. If you run late don’t panic. Just catch the next one. Trains to Waurn Ponds run every 20 mins. The timetable for Tuesday is here.
Do more work. There’s super fast wifi, beverages and cool work mates at Startup Cloud. There are startup founders, small business owners (who absolutely love working with startup founders) and freelancers working out of Startup Cloud.
We’ll break for lunch around 12 noon. Thanks to our sponsors, a light lunch will be provided. Woohoo! What not to like?
Take a break. Go for a walk. Get some fresh air and come back and do more work.
Train home or Pitch on the Beach!
You can catch a train back home anytime or join us on the Geelong’s Easten Beach for Pitch on the Beach. It’s a short 18min walk from Startup Cloud to Eastern Beach (Walking route on Google Maps).
If you are joining us on the beach, please RSVP here and tell the organisers what kind of pizza you like! Soft drinks and pizza provided courtesy of our sponsors.
What happens on the Beach?
Put away your work tools and mingle. Make some more friends. We hope to have 90-second pitches and video them for Silicon Beach TV. We are expecting an investor or two from Geelong Angels to attend, so have your best pitch on. No mic, no screen for pitch decks. It’s just you pitching.
What is coworking?
Oh, please. Are you serious? Read this.
Why is it called Jelly coworking?
Now that’s a good question. We had no idea either. Even Google had very little on this. Here’s what we found.
How do we find each other at Southern Cross?
Refer to video monitors for platform information and make your way to that platform. Event hosts will post their mobile numbers below on the day.
